Remembering God's Promises

“For all of God’s promises have been fulfilled in Christ with a resounding, “YES!” And through Christ, our “Amen” (which means “yes”) ascends to God for His Glory.”

2 Corinthians 1:20

Ladies we need to remember, reclaim, and recite the promises of God over our lives! Yes, even when it seems that everything is falling apart, His promises still belong to us as Believers. He never promised that this life would be easy. As a matter of fact, Jesus told his disciples that they would have trouble (John 16:33). We aren’t exempt but He didn’t stop there, he told them to “take heart” because He has already overcome the world.

Trust that God has you on His Mind.  Remind yourself of the facts. He is God and He cannot lie (Numbers 23:19). Jeremiah 1:12 says, “He watches over His Word to fulfill it.” By His Word the very space that we occupy was framed (Hebrews 11:3). We serve an almighty, all powerful God who knows the very hairs on our head (Luke 12:7). We are His daughters and He loves us with an everlasting, unfailing love. His Word will remain (Matthew 24:35) and it will accomplish His plans in your life (Isaiah 55:11).  Do you believe that?

We have to shake off the dirt of doubt and unbelief daily and sometimes minute by minute. We also have to remember that we have received the fulfillment of God’s promises through Jesus, His Son! In Him is “yes and amen.”  I don’t have to say anything else after that but I will because my prayer for you this week is that your faith will reach a boiling point and that it will overflow in every area of your life. This week get in the Word and pull out scriptures that will help you to remember God’s promises to you.
